Ben Anderson
I began my career as a chef in England in 1996. My first job was as an apprentice chef at the Coppid Beech Hotel (John Nike), where I completed my basic training. From there I decided to seek more of a challenge, and moved to The Waterside Inn (Roux Brothers), one of the top restaurants in the UK. I thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills, and producing top quality dishes, and as I moved through the ranks and progressed my career, I gained more and more experience of the business itself. To broaden my experience further, I also spent time working at a number of other hotels and restaurants including Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa, The Hinds Head (Heston Blumenthal), and L’Ortolan. I moved to Ireland in 2009, and have since experienced working in a number of different places includingDonnybrook Fair Restaurant & Shop, Amber Springs Hotel and The Kitchen@Gorey. I gained valuable experience and knowledge from each employment, and enjoyed the challenges that came from each. It has taught me that all business are different, and require a tailored approach to ensure success.
I am keen to share my knowledge and experience with others, work with you to understand your business needs, and give an outside perspective.
